Using the ARHP-480 radio host program*, you can control the transceiver remotely over a LAN or via the Internet. The Kenwood Network Command System also enables VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) applications.

The IC-T70E VHF/UHF dual band handheld transceiver is the successor to Icom’s best selling IC-T7H. 5W of output power both VHF/UHF bands
The IC-T70E employs a new low consumption current FET module providing 5W of high power and long operating time for both VHF and UHF bands. For even longer operating time, 2.5W or 0.5W of reduced output power can be selected.

700mW loud audio
The IC-T70E uses a BTL (bridge-tied load) amplifier that doubles the audio output. The 36mm large speaker delivers 700mW of loud and intelligible audio even in noisy environments.

302 memory channels

Internal VOX function
The IC-T70E has an internal VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) function for convenient hands-free operation when used with a compatible optional headset and plug adapter cable. Also, the VOX level and VOX delay time are adjustable.

Built-in CTCSS and DTCS
CTCSS and DTCS tones are built-in for quiet stand-by and repeater access. Pocket beep and tone scan are also possible. The tone scan allows the operator to detect the sub-audible tone that is used for repeater access.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RALLY:

From A38 South:

At the roundabout take the A61 into Alfreton.
At the set of lights at the junction with the B6019, take the left turn.
Follow the short road and bear left into Alfreton Leisure Centre.

From M1 Junction 28 and A38 from Mansfield:

At J28 Roundabout, take the B6019 road into South Normanton.
Stay on the B6019 and at the mini-roundabouts in South Normantom
go straight on, over the railway bridge at Alfreton Station and up the hill
to the main roundabout in Alfreton.
Turn right at this roundabout into Alfreton High Street.
At the junction with the B6019 and A61, go straight over the lights
follow the short road and bear left into Alfreton Leisure Centre.

The G8PUT Logbook Project

The Logbook Project started in the late summer of 2007, the original idea was to create a simple and easy to use logbook system. Since then I have received many requests to include additional features. The most significant are perhaps Contests and Awards. Work is progressing well on including these and many other features.
The way the project is developing is that new functions and features which have been requested are being added in no particular order. A feature which takes little time to include might be added on the day it is requested. Other features which take a significant amount of work will be made available when they are completed.
Without doubt, the most important part of the project is your support. Only by your trying and testing the program do I become aware of any problems or changes that you would like to see. For that continued and growing support I offer my thanks.
The program must be registered in order to view data more than one month old, but this can be done free of charge. Contests, Awards and other features require a small payment.
I do however welcome registration payments for the basic system that you might wish to make to support the work in progress.

Hide unwanted columns

Setting a columns width to 0 causes it not to be shown.

IARU and Great Circle distance

Enter your stations IARU locator in the Administration screen and when you enter the IARU of a station you work in the log book, the approximate distance is calculated and entered in the remarks column.

Delete Entry

Edit the callsign to DEL and the entry will be removed. .

NET

Adding a new QSO using 'NET' does not log out the previous station. To log out a single station in the net, click on the blank 'finish time' box. .
